Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Student Discipline, Behavior and CultureEnforce school rules; oversee discipline systems, restorative practices, and behavior interventions. Handle complex student conduct cases and parent conferences Promote positive school climate and student engagement initiatives Safety and Crisis ManagementOversee day-to-day operations and campus safety protocols Lead emergency response planning, drils, and incident response Serce as a building leader during crises Instructional LeadershipSupport teachers with classroom management Support curriculum implementation and instructional best practices Observe classrooms, provide feedback/coaching, and lead teacher evaluations Analyze student data to guide interventions and instructional planning Operations and logisticsManage daily building operations (schedules, bell times, supervision, transportation, and school events) Coordinate facilities needs Oversee extracurriculars, clubs, and event logistics Family and community engagementCommunicate with families, community partners, and external stakeholders Facilitate parent meetings, outreach, and partnership development Data, assessment, and accountabilityMonitor assessment results, attendance, and behavior data Support school improvement planning and progress monitoring Compliance and administrative tasksEnsure adherence to district, state, and federal policies (IEPs, special education, Title programs) Manage reporting, paperwork, schedules, and budget tracking as assigned Other leadership tasksAct as principal in their absence and lead committees or initiatives Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations Duties and assignments may vary based on building assignment, academic year, and school needs.

  • Manage schedules, assignments, and substitute coverage Qualifications / Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Bonding, and or Testing Required: Principal Endorsement Master’s degree in Education Administration, Curriculum Leadership, or related field. Colorado Teaching License At least one year of experience is preferred. Bilingual ability Physical Demands: Between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day, lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and 10 pounds on a frequent basis, occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, overhead reaching and fine motor activity, frequently sitting, standing, walking, balancing, reaching at desk and floor level, firm and simple grasping. The work requires constant seeing, hearing and talking. - Work Environment: Work is performed under normal office conditions and there are minimal environmental risks or disagreeable conditions associated with the work.
